There are a lot of obviuos similarieties between the film Westworld (1973), the film written and directed by Michael Crichton about a theme park overrun by killer androids and 1993's Jurassic Park.

• The 'Tour' is started from a central control room on schedule and supervised by the worrying workers
• smoking technicians in the control room
• The park runs amok
• Doors in the parks facilities are opened and closed by electric devices that shut down when the parks electronics break down later
• The Velociraptor/Yul Brynner is non-stoppable - the perfect machine
• The Der Tyrannosaurus/Yul Brynner can't see his opponents (by movement/by heat(infrared)) and this leads to a horrifying face-to-face scene
