This was his first California Based ABC - Dunhill REcords after that \nlabel had absorbed his previous company, Duke Records, and Mr. Ble\nBland's contract. The 1973 effort was an auspicious new label debut,\nproducint Bland's 22nd R&B top hit ("This Time I'm Gone for Good" hit#5)\nand another top 20 hit ("Goin' Down Slow at #17) The album also was the\nfirst by Bobby to climb onto the "Top Pop Albums" chart in almost a\ndecade, spending 19 weeks thereon. Numbers aside, this was and is an\nexcellent representation of Bobbl't coolly expressive brand of blues.\nVVarious
