Perhaps the most neglected era in the entire history of Jazz is its earliest years. Most Jazz fans are familiar with Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Miles Davis; but only collectors of original 78s know about Bennie Krueger, Isham Jones and George Olsen.
