Released February 7, 1995\n\nAMG EXPERT REVIEW: The first of two double-CDs, this set has recreations of big-band era performances taken from the 1950's. While it is true that most of the surviving swing orchestras recorded for Capitol at one time or another, they were often either past their prime or merely going through the motions in revisiting the past during these performances.
