Founded at the begining of the year 1998, the ARZ NEVEZ string quartet's purpose is to interpret any traditional Celtic music arranged for string instruments as well as original works composed for the group.\nFurthermore the present original experiment aims at linking up two different cultures which meet all too rarely, however much they might learn from each other

1. Arz Nevez - Gouel ar C'hranked (06:17)
   A three part composition in the style of a Plinn dance which people uused to dance while tamping down the threshing floor. It has also been taken over by the crabs on our seashore during moonlit nights !

   Jean Michel VEILLON is undoubtedly one of the most talented flautists in the Celtic areas. he is also a first-class composer and a man of wit. He deserves to be thanked for his charisma and kindness
6. Arz Nevez - Draeneg (03:29)
   In Breton, Draeneg means "bass" (fish). A song suggestive of the frantic shoal of bass above the sand, close to a sheer drop in the green-blue water at Hoedic for instance.
