The Band of 1 Canadian Air Division (now known as the Air Command Band) is a professional thirty-five piece musical ensemble that performs throughout Canada and around the world. The role of the band is to provide a wide range of musical support to the Canadian Forces, all levels of government, and to a variety of public charities and functions.\n From its' home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Band of 1 Canadian Air Division has ventured to many cities and ttowns throughout North America and Europe. Over the past fifty years The Band of 1 Canadian Air Division has undergone several name changes and home base locations. The Band continues to instill pride in audiences across the country, nurture "esprit de corps" in our military, and represent Canada as musical ambassadors at international events around the globe.\n Recorded May 1998 at the Band of 1 Canadian Air Division bandroom at 17 Wing, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
