Cheap Trick: Found All The Parts CD Track Listing
Cheap Trick
Found All The Parts (1980)
2003 Sony Music Direct (Japan)\n\nOriginally Released August 1970\nSony Japanese Import CD Edition Released August 4, 2003\n\nAMG EXPERT REVIEW: This EP consists of four cuts that hadn't found their way onto Cheap Trick's releases as of yet. Of note is their version of the Beatles' "Day Tripper." A nostalgic bit of history. -- James Chrispell\n\nAmazon.com Album Description\nFirst time on CD for this EP that was originally released on 10 inch in 1980 through CBS. Features 4 digitally remastered tracks, 'Day Tripper' (Live 1979 USA), 'Can't Hold On' (Live 1978 Tokyo), 'Such A Good Girl' (Studio 1976) & 'Take Me I'm Yours' (Studio 1977). Sony Japan. 2003. \n\nAmazon.com Customer Review\nMore Tricks Than A Monkey In A Mile Of Grapevine., February 19, 2004 \nReviewer: Mark Freeman from Deep South, U.S.A. \nI bought this on vinyl when it first came out in 1980. I enjoyed all 4 tunes as well as the 45 of "Everything Works If You Let It". All are typical Cheap Trick tunes and I have never grown tired of hearing them.\n\nIt was definitely worth the $15.00 I coughed up for my used copy through a local retailer. But I am a Cheap Trick fan from way back. Had I not found the used copy I would have broken down and spent the $21.00 for this import version. \n\nAmazon.com Customer Review\nHow badly do you need this?, October 16, 2003 \nReviewer: eveoflove from North York, Ontario Canada \nMade in JAP in 2003, Serial# MHCP-2015, Playing Time 17:21\n\nOriginally released on 10-inch vinyl back in 1980, this EP came as a limited edition with a bonus, single-sided 7-inch disc, which featured an edited version of "Everything Works If You Let It", unfortunately absent for this CD release.\n\nTrack 1, a live version of the Beatles' "Day Tripper", has since been released countless times on CD in the same edited version presented here... the full-length version only available, at least to my knowledge, on the "Sex, America, Cheap Trick" box-set.\n\nTrack 2, a live version of the Rick Nielsen-penned "Can't Hold On", has since been released on the "Budokan II" and "At Budokan - The Complete Concert".\n\nThe last 2 tracks, "Such A Good Girl" (written by Nielsen) and "Take Me I'm Yours" (written by Nielsen and Zander), haven't seen the light of day on an official CD until now...\n\nBoth of these leftover tracks, quite different in tempo and style, are easily recognizable as CT songs because they have the trademarks from their late 70s material. They're not gems by any stretch of the imagination, but solid tracks (they're not demos or unfinished songs) with completed production work.\n\nYou'll have to decide whether 7-and-a-half minutes of "unreleased" music is worth the price of admission... I didn't hesitate, even though I still have my vinyl pressing! \n\nHalf.com Album Notes\nDigitally remastered Japanese 4 track EP. YEAR: 1980
