Dishboy started in a drivers ed class with josh and will in the summer of 2000. Josh began to write lyrics in which Will started writing music to. Tyler had been playing bass and Brandon began playing the drums. After we realized tyler wasn't to swell we got joey on board. After months of practice and playing small shows we recorded a ten track cd and released it january 27th. We then realized our guitarist could sing alot better than josh so josh "left" the band and now we are a trio (and good). So that leaves us with Will on guitar and lead vocals, Joey on bass and bad vocals, and Brandon on drums and back-up vocals. We have a somewhat unique sound, its not just punk, theres hints of pop-rock i guess mixed in. I think we're getting better now that josh isn't with us and will is singing, and Will is turning out to be a damn good songwriter as well. You'll just have to come see us play to judge for yourself. We've put out a new cd that kicks so much booty it's insane, you have to hear it, you'll have to contact one of the members, or you can probably find someone that has it and burn it from them. And look for a possible new addition to the band, a fourth member??? i don't know, come check us out in december, we'll have flyers out.\n
