From the Ashes of a band called "Pillow Fight", The Outskirts was born. A female fronted punk band from Los Angeles California. and in 2007 they recorded..... "Shot of Life....." The moment lead singer Charlie DeKay's voice reaches your eardrums it's easy to be transfixed. That rough, raspy voice of hers is a pleasure to listen to. It's as if the 80's hardcore sound has tightened up a bit, lost a bit of aggression, and threw a woman out front. The song "I Can't Lose" is sure to help this band get some radio play and some well deserved recognition.
